Maxxima Charity Sports Day

Back to Blogs

On Friday 4th August we held a charity sports day to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

At 5:30pm our teams headed to Shoreditch Park, close to the office, and split into six teams. There they re-lived their school days, taking part in traditional sports day events such as the egg and spoon race, sack race and 3-legged race with a tug of war as the title decider. After blood, sweat and lots of tears (from the green team), the white team were victorious, winning the plastic gold medals and celebrating like they’d won the Olympics.

After a fantastic fundraising effort by all involved, we are pleased to say that over £650 was raised for GOSH. Thank you to everyone who took part and supported the event. We are extremely grateful for the generosity shown and for being such good sports (excuse the pun).
