Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking for  3 x Band 6 Mental Health Practitioners to fill full-time roles in the Community Mental Health Team based in Bury, Manchester. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge and skills as a community mental health nurse.

The team are offering immediate starts for experienced Band 6  Community Mental Health Practitioner who could be an CPN, Social Worker, OT.

You will be working within Bury Community Mental Health Team based at Humphrey House in the Centre of Bury.        
The role will include care co-ordinator and assessment responsibility for a number of people who use secondary mental health services. You will be expected to take part on the duty rota. You will be involved in assessment of risk and care and care planning processes for clients engaged with the service. 
The post is for 37.5 hours - Office hours apply, with some flexibility on start/finish times.

Main responsibilities include working in the role as Mental Health Practitioner for a caseload of individuals, providing assessment of mental state and risk, providing structured interventions, and guiding other members of the team in the delivery of these, on both a 1:1 and group facilitation basis.
The pay rate for this locum Band 6 Mental Health Practitioners job is £22.00 per hour (Umbrella) due to start ASAP.
Requirements of the Band 6 Mental Health Practitioners role:
  • You must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC pin or Qualified Social Worker or Occupational Therapist
  • Preferred experience of working within a community team.
  • Must have knowledge of working with and managing a caseload autonomously within the community.
