Maxxima’s Social Work team are currently recruiting for Children’s Social Workers to fill job roles in Wrexham
The role will be based within Children and Families Services who are looking for Qualified Social Workers to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis. 
The pay rate for these roles is up to £29 per hour, and the roles will initially be a three-month contract, with the likelihood of extension.
We are looking for experienced Children and Families Social Workers to work in the following busy service
The North Wales Adoption Service (NWAS) provides a regional adoption service on behalf of the local authority areas of Wrexham, Flintshire, Denbighshire, Conwy, Gwynedd and Anglesey. In accordance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures, NWAS is responsible for the recruitment and assessment of adopters, the matching and placement of children with adoptive families and for providing a range of support services for adopted families in accordance with assessed needs. Social workers within the service are required to undertake assessments within statutory timescales; prepare reports, advise and support potential adopters; attend Adoption Panels to present Prospective Adopters Reports and work in partnership with statutory and voluntary organisations to ensure the needs of adoptive families are met and the best outcomes are achieved for children requiring adoptive placements. The post holders will be responsible for the delivery of high quality adoption social work in line with statute, regulation and guidance. A social work qualification and experience of working with children and families in a social care setting are essential.
