Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 3 CAMHS Emergency Assessment Worker to fill a full-time role in Westminster. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of CAMHS services.
 
In this NHS role you will be supporting the existing CAMHS service provision during the Covid19 critical phase through a dedicated CAMHS Mental Health (MH) Emergency Assessment Service (EAS) for CAMHS MH emergency assessments out of hours and a 24/7 triage service, diverting Children and Young People (CYP) from A&E where possible and appropriate.
 
The CAMHS EAS provides a 24/7 triage and out of hours MH Emergency Assessment function that has not previously existed, covering all five of the NWL boroughs; Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea, Hillingdon, Harrow, and Brent.
 
This role will be to support CAMHS nurses with the assessment and observation of young people admitted to the service.
 
This role will be working on a rota basis, and is paying £11.00 per hour days,  £14.42 per hour nights and Saturdays and £19.91 Sundays (umbrella)
