Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic, hard-working and dedicated professionals to join St Georges NHS trust in a community Rehabilitation assistant or Therapy Technical Instructor role.


Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Approx. 3 months from start date
Days/time required: Monday – Friday 08.30 – 16.30 37.5h week
Location/s: Based at St John’s Therapy Centre, but working in the community (i.e.in patient’s homes) across the Borough of Wandsworth

Brief Job Description:
  • To be responsible, under supervision, for the management of a caseload of adults with a wide range of neurological disorders offering specialist community and out-patient rehabilitation.
  • To work with a caseload of patients including those with a complex and highly complex social, psychological, communication, and cognitive presentation, delivering agreed individualised treatment programmes working towards client’s goals. This will be under supervision but will often involve working as a lone clinician and also as part of a comprehensive multi-disciplinary team.
  • Experience in working with adults/older people in the field of neurology/neuro rehabilitation is ESSENTIAL.
  • As it is a community position, a competent cyclist or car driver would be preferred, but an efficient user of public transport would be considered.

Rate: £13-18 p/h
