Job description

Maxxima’s Nursing Team are currently recruiting for a Band 4 Assistant Practitioner to fill a full time role in Ilford. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of providing care in the comunity.

As part of this Community Treatment Team, your role will be to help avoid unnecessary admission to acute hospital settings. You will use evidence based practice, assisting with providing a thorough and rapid assessment, facilitating a quick and effective discharge home. When based in the community you will undertake visits and provide holistic assessments. You will also supervise Band 3 staff within the team.

This role is to work full time hours. The pay rate for this Band 4 Assistant Practitioner role is £14.00 per hour (Umbrella).

Requirements of this Band 4 Assistant Practitioner vacancy:
• Must have previous experience of working the community
• You must be comfortable with lone working
• You must be a car driver and able to perform venepuncture
• You must have an understanding of A&E to assist with discharge
