Maxxima’s nursing team is currently recruiting for a Band 4 Assistant Psychologist to fill a full-time role in Maidenhead, Berkshire. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge and skills as an Assistant Psychologist.

The post-holder will be working as part of the Children and Young People’s Eating Disorders and ARFID team to support and enhance the psychological care of our client population within Berkshire by contributing to the work of the psychologists and other professionals in the Service.

The post-holder will co-ordinate and assist in the development and delivery of groups, and will also have opportunities under the supervision of a qualified psychologist to work with service users and their family/carers to support the delivery of evidence-based.

This role will be Monday to Friday, 09:00- 17:00, 4 days a week (30 hours) will also be considered
 
The pay rate for this Band 4 Assistant Psychologist is £12.80 per hour (Umbrella), due to start in 2 weeks time.
 
Requirements of this Band 4 Assistant Psychologist vacancy:
  • An upper second class honours degree or higher in psychology
  • Eligible for graduate membership of the British Psychological Society
  • Previously worked as a Assistant Psychologist
  • A keen interested in CAMHS and specifically eating disorders
  • Knowledge of evidence-based psychological interventions (particularly CBT), and the application thereof, as relevant to mental health services for people with complex mental health problems
