Job description

Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking for an experienced Band 5 Community Nurse to fill a full time, 37.5 hours a week role in Batley, South West Yorkshire. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge and skills as a Community Nurse.

In this NHS role, you will work within the integrated community care team, undertaking duties involving the delivery of nursing services and holistic assessments of patients' health needs using a person-centered approach. You will provide quality and seamless nursing care to housebound patients and being proactive in coordinating their care needs as appropriate. In addition, you will have the opportunity to be involved in facilitating self-care for patients with long term conditions, health promotion, and innovative activities and projects that enhance patient service delivery.

The pay rate for this locum Band 5 Community Nurse job is £18.00 per hour (Umbrella) due to start ASAP.

Requirements of the Band 5 Community Nurse role:
  • You must be a Registered General Nurse with a valid NMC pin.
  • You must be a Community nurse.
  • Must have experience within the Community.
  • You must feel comfortable providing care to patients within their home.
  • You must have experience completing assessments.
  • You must be a car driver.
