Locum Band 5 Physiotherapist - Community Learning Disability Team
Location: Sheffield
Job Type: Temporary/Full-time
Job Starts: ASAP
Maxxima are currently recruiting for a physiotherapist to fill a band 5 role with a Community Learning Disability Team in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for any experienced band 5 who is looking to move into this specialist area and wanting to join a friendly and supportive team!
The Community Learning Disability Team is a specialist health service for people with learning disabilities, and their carers, living in Sheffield. They provide specialist health assessments, diagnosis, support and care for people aged 18 and above. By working alongside other health services in the city they ensure that the service users’ physical and mental health needs are met, and ensure that family and carers are supported in their important roles too.
Unfortunately we cannot accept newly registered physiotherapists for this post as some post-graduate experience within the NHS is essential.
This is a full-time post for 6 months initially.

Requirements of this Physiotherapist vacancy
- A degree (or equivalent) e.g. BSc, MSc or Diploma entry level qualification in physiotherapy
- HCPC registered
- NHS experience at band 5 level or above
- Physiotherapy experience such as care of the elderly, community, paediatrics, outpatients all acceptable
- Car driver
