Maxxima’s nursing team is currently recruiting for a Band 5 Mental Health Nurse to fill a full-time role in the Community Mental Health Team based in Knowsley. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge and skills as a Mental Health Nurse.

We are delighted to confirm an opportunity within Knowsley Adult Mental Health Community Team, which provides treatment and intervention following the Recovery Model. This post is within the localities of Knowsley and the three bases are Huyton, Whiston and Halewood.

There will be an expectation to cover any locality depending on service need. This role will entail care coordination under CPA and Non CPA in the community preparing service users for discharge as appropriate. Group work has been suspended due to current Covid-19 pandemic guidelines but will form part of the role in due course. As a must, you will be an effective communicator and listener with a compassionate nature and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care every time.

This role will be full time, working Monday to Friday, 09:00- 17:00.

The pay rate for this Band 5 Mental Health Nurse is £18.00 per hour (Umbrella), due to start in the next 2 weeks.

Requirements of this Band 5 Mental Health Nurse vacancy:

• You must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC Pin

• You must have excellent listening and communication skills

• You must have community experience

• You must be able to manage your own wide caseload.
