Maxxima’s nursing team is currently recruiting for a Band 5 Mental Health Nurse to fill a full-time role in the Recovery Team based in Warrington. The ideal candidate will have been qualified as a Mental Health Nurse for at least 12 months.

This role will entail administering of depot injection for a cohort of service user`s open to Warrington Recovery Team, who are unable to attend depot clinic or travel to Wakefield House site due to COVID restrictions and/or known health conditions.

Depot medication to be administered at home address of service user, accompanied by a colleague from the Team.
 
Role will also require upkeep and maintaining clinical records via Rio in order to outcome all necessary contacts and appointments, Delivering flu vaccines to Staff (and possible covid-19 vaccine) every day on a booked clinic basis, collecting vaccines and returning to Hollins park daily. Transporting the vaccine, maintaining a COVID secure practice and travel between site
 
This role will be part time, 22.5 hours a week, the exact times can be agreed with the manager at interview.
 
The pay rate for this Band 5 Mental Health Nurse is £17.00 per hour (Umbrella), due to start as soon as possible.
 
Requirements of this Band 5 Mental Health Nurse vacancy:
  • You must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC Pin.
  • You must have experience of administering depot injections
  • You must have a car and be willing to travel
