Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for Band 5 Mental Health Nurse to fill a full-time role within this exciting new team in Southall, West London. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of working within a busy team.
 
The Trust has been commissioned to provide transitional beds, initially 8 beds (potentially increasing to 25), for North West London patients.  These are transitional beds to which patients could be discharged for a 2 week period prior to transfer to a longer term placement in a care home. The two week period is intended to allow time for patients with Covid-19 to be no longer infectious. The unit will run for 6-12 months and is due to open on the 15th June 2020.
 
The team are looking for someone who has care home or inpatient experience, looking to further there skills in an NHS role. The post is expected to last at least 6 months, potentially 12 months.
 
The pay rate for this Band 5 Mental Health Nurse is £20.00 per hour (Umbrella) weekdays, increasing to £25.00 per hour for nights and £30.00 per hour (umbrella) on weekends. You will be working on a 24/7 rota.

  • Valid NMC registration under Mental Health Nursing
  • Experience working within a similar role (inpatients or care home) would be highly desirable.
