Job description

Maxxima’s nursing team is currently recruiting for Band 5 RMN/Staff Nurse to fill a full-time role in the Mental Health Team based in Scunthorpe.

The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of working with Mental Health Services.  Your role will be to assist in providing an environment that is satisfactory to maintain the physical and mental wellbeing of patients and staff. You will deliver appropriate and effective evidence based clinical care without direct supervision. Part of your role will be to carry out comprehensive assessments including rick assessment with patients on admission to the area. 

This role will be full time shift pattern including early, late and long days.

The pay rate for this Band 5 RMN’s role is up to £19.25 PH, with increments for weekends (umbrella rate) and is due to start as soon as possible. 

Requirements of the Band 5 RMN role;
  • You must be a registered mental health nurse with valid NMC pin
  • You must have experience working with patients and their carers with complex health and social care difficulties
  • You must have experience managing a caseload
  • You must be able to work a varied shift pattern
