** Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist - Essex, Adult Acute **

Maxxima's client based in Essex are looking for a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to work with an adult inpatient caseload. Your duties will include assessment, treatment and management of patients with acquired speech, communication and swallowing difficulties within inpatient stroke rehabilitation setting. The role will also involve covering referrals from 2 general rehab wards. You will be part of a goal led MDT of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation assistants, HCAs, doctors and nurses. You will be the sole SALT on site, though clinical support is provided by the surrounding MDT and SALT line manager as needed.

The service is looking for a therapist to join them ASAP until the end of September. Full times hours are preferred, but the team will consider therapists who have part time availability. The rate of pay is £20 - £25 per hour depending on experience.

You must have a relevant qualification in speech and language therapy and be HCPC registered to be considered.
