Job description

Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking for a Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner to fill a full time, Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 role in Bolton. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge and skills working within Mental Health and ideally Child and Adolescents Mental Health.
This post is to meet the requirements of the waiting list initiative. Children and young people and their families on the CAMHS waiting list will be contacted by the practitioner and a plan for care agreed. Brief interventions and liaison will be offered by the practitioner with the goal of drastically reducing waiting times for CAMHS service users.
The pay rate for this locum Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner job is £23.00 per hour (Umbrella). This role is to start as soon as possible and is initially until Jan 2021 but is likely to be extended.
Requirements of the Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner role:
  • You must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC pin
  • You must have experience within CAMHS or working with young people
  •  You must have excellent assessment and time management skills
