Job description

Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking Band 6 CAMHS Practitioners to fill a full-time role in Oldham. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge and skills as a CAMHS Practitioner.

2 x Band 6 CAMHS Practitioners required for 3 months to work on the Reflections Unit at the Royal Oldham Hospital.
T
he hours are full time 37.5 working Mon – Friday 09:00 – 17:00.

MAIN DUTIES
  • We are looking for 2 staff one based in the assessment team
  • Completing mental state assessments/risk assessments both in clinic and on the children’s ward at the Royal Oldham Hospital
  • One based within a core team holding a small case load and also supporting duty
  • Fully face to face, no working from home
  • Will hold a small case load
  • Experience of working in either CAMHS or Adult Mental Health
This role will be 37 hours a week over 5 days. 9-5 Monday to Friday

The pay rate for this locum Band 6 CAMHS Practitioners job is up £24.00 per hour (Umbrella) due to start ASAP for an initial 3 months.

Requirements of the Band 6 CAMHS Practitioners role:
  • You must be a Registered mental health nurse with a valid NMC Pin.
  • For assessments and holding caseloads, must have mental health experience.
  • You must have experience working with patients suffering mental health issues.
