Job description

Maxxima's nursing team are current recruiting a Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner to fill a full-time role in Welling, South East London. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of children's mental health nursing practices within the NHS.


In this NHS role you will work with a Tier 3 and 4 CAMHS Adolescent Team. The service provide rapid assessment and treatment of young people presenting in crisis. You will have to complete regular mental state and risk reviews, safety planning, and intensive support and all activity must be noted and discussed with the patient.


The pay rate for this locum Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner is £24.00 per hour (Umbrella), and is a 3-month contract due to start ASAP.


Requirements of this Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner vacancy:

* Must have a valid NMC Pin

* Must have experience as a CAMHS Practitioner within a similar setting
