Maxxima's nursing team are currently recruiting for Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner/Registered Mental Health Nurses to fill job roles in Doncaster, Rotherham and Scunthorpe. The candidates will be required to work within a CAMHS Teams.

Our NHS Client are looking for CAMHS Practitioners/Mental Health Nurses to start as soon as possible on a full time basis (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm). The pay rate of this role is at £23.00 per hour (umbrella rate), and the role will initially be a three-month contract, with the likelihood of extension.

Requirements and details of this CAMHS/RMN vacancy:
  • We are looking for candidates who have a significant understanding of mental health practices within the NHS. Previous CAMHS experience is desirable, but any relevant experience of working with Children and Families' emotional and social wellbeing can be considered.
  • The candidate must be registered with the NMC.
  • Driver, own car and business insurance is essential as this role is community based
  • The team is currently a mix of social workers and a clinical psychologist, and this role is suitable for Registered Mental Health Nurses
  • This is a multi-disciplinary team, which offers a variety of evidence-based interventions to under-18s and their families; we are actively participating in the CYP- IAPT agenda and are working hard to transform aspects of our service delivery thus enhancing client care
  • The successful candidate will have an exciting and varied opportunity to develop their clinical skills in undertaking specialist assessment and therapeutic interventions, you will also have the opportunity to develop your skill in multi-agency working by providing consultation/formulation to address the needs of Children, Young People & Families.
  • The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the ability to maintain a high standard of patient care and be professionally responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of the program of care provided. The applicant must have a high standard of record keeping and demonstrate user engagement and multi-agency involvement within the assessment process and the development of care planning
  • You msut have a high level of enthusiasm and dedication to providing quality, community based mental health services to children, young people and their families, Access to transport or have the ability to travel to a variety of venues as part of the working day, Experience in undertaking Mental Health Assessments, Interventions & Systemic formulations to address the needs of the client group and Experience of working under pressure and in a demanding environment
