Maxxima's nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 CHC Nurse Assessor to fill a full-time role in Croydon. The ideal candidates will have a significant understanding of healthcare assessing within the NHS.

In this role you will be responsible for commissioning care provision and reviewing individuals who meet the eligibility criteria for NHS Continuing Healthcare, either in a nursing home or in their own home. You will also need to complete CHC assessments of clients and involving families and members of the MDT Team. You will need to ensure all care plans in the place are up to date and support the client's current needs. You will act as an advocate for the vulnerable, challenging poor practice and discriminatory attitudes and behaviour relating to their care, including both challenging situations at the time and reporting it to an appropriate person.

This role will be Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00, and is a 3 month contract to start ASAP.

The pay rate for this Band 6 CHC Nurse Assessor is £200 per day (Umbrella).

Requirements for this Band 6 CHC Nurse Assessor vacancy:
* You must be a registered Healthcare professional with valid registration.
  • You must have previous experience in Continuing Healthcare/Funded Nursing Care (FNC)
  • You must be willing to travel between sites as part of the role
