Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Community Learning Disability Nurse to fill a full-time role in North West London. The ideal candidates will have a significant understanding of Community Learning Disability care within the NHS.
This NHS role will require you to have experience of working in a community learning disability team with patients with learning disabilities and challenging behavior, mental health issues, and complex physical needs. You must be able to work independently and part of a team with a caseload of service users. 
This role will be 30 hours a week, Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00-08:00-16:00. 
The pay rate for this Band 6 Community Learning Disability Nurse is £25.00 with a contract for initially 2 months but could be extended. 
Requirements for this Band 6 Community Learning Disability Nurse vacancy:
  • You must be a learning disability nurse with a valid NMC.
  • You must have experience with working in the Community.
  • You must have good time management skills.
  • You must have experience working with patients with either disabilities or mental health issues.
