Job description

Maxxima's nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Mental Health Nurse to fill a full-time role in Hillingdon. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of addictions and recovery.

In this NHS role, you will need to provide a range of specialist service to problem drinkers and problematic drug users attending the service. This will include harm minimisation approaches, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, health education, detoxification programmes and key working. You must ensure all full risk assessments and risk management is delivered effectively.

You will make continuous assessments of clients, taking into account the needs of the family, local community and developing plans of care and evaluation of treatment plans.

This role is Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00, 37.5 hours a week.

The pay rate for this Band 6 Mental Health Nurse is £24.50 per hour (Umbrella), 3-month contract due to start ASAP.

Requirements of this Band 6 Mental Health Nurse vacancy:
* All applications must be a registered mental health nurse with Valid NMC pin.
* Must have experience working in a mental health setting.
* Must have experience with working with alcohol and drug misuse.
* Must be a car owner and driver.
