Job description

Maxxima's nursing team are current recruiting for a Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse to fill a full-time role in Canvey Island. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of first response community mental health nursing practices within the NHS.

In this NHS First Response role, you will carry responsibilities for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care for service users who are referred to the community mental health team for both assessment and treatment. You will be a member of a multi-disciplinary team and work in close co-operation with hospital based and primary health care-based professionals. You will then have to maintain the standard of care within the first response team and actively participate in the training and education of staff seconded to the service. Lastly you will need to be responsible for ensuring that an integrated assessment and treatment service is provided to the clients and ensure that a good inter-disciplinary working environment is maintained.

This role will be Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00, 37.5 hours a week.

The pay rate for this Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse role is £23.00 per hour (Umbrella), 3-month contract due to start ASAP.

Requirements of this Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse vacancy:
* Must be a registered Mental Health Nurse with a vailed NMC Pin.
* Must have previous experience within a similar team
* Must have experience working in the community as a CPN.
