Job description

Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse to fill a full-time/part time role in Chesterfield/Ripley area, Derbyshire. The ideal candidate will have significant experience working within an NHS mental health team.

In this NHS role you will be working in the Mental Health Triage and Mental Health Support Line team. You will be responsible for the ongoing treatment of supporting children and young people with mental health disorders. The team promotes a dynamic and innovative way of working, providing a triage function and crisis response for individuals coming into contact with Emergency services.

Full time and part time roles available working over 24/7 shift rota, due to start ASAP. The role will last a duration of 8 weeks.

The pay rate for this Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse is £23.00 per hour (Umbrella).

Requirements of this Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse vacancy:

  • All applications must be a registered mental health nurse with Valid NMC pin.
  • Must have a degree or diploma in Mental health nursing
  • Experience in providing a crisis response for individuals coming into contact with emergency services
