Job description

Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse to fill a full-time role in the Dementia Service in Basildon, Essex. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of Mental Health within the community.
In this NHS role, you will be a part of the mental health dementia team provide care to those part of the service. You must ensure that you always provide high-quality care and note all information into the patient's file and sustain confidentiality throughout.
This role is 09:00-17:00, Monday to Friday, due to start ASAP. On occasions there may be a requirement to finish at 7pm.
The pay rate for this Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse is £24.00 per hour (Umbrella).
 Requirements of this Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse vacancy:
  • All applications must be a registered mental health nurse with Valid NMC pin. 
  • Must have experience working in a mental health setting.
  • Must be willing to work in the community. 
  • Must have at least 6 months recent experience working in Dementia.
  • Must have experience completing assessments.
