Maxxima are currently recruiting for a band 6 physiotherapist to fill a community physiotherapy role in Manchester.
The successful candidate will be working for an interdisciplinary team team and the role will involve:
- New patient assessments
- Working in the community, treating patients in their homes.
- Assessing and treating complex presentations in long term neurological conditions.
- Able to carry a large caseload. Able to see a minimum of 5 patients a day.
- Functional Assessments
- Able to discharge plan in a timely manner liaising with the MDT, patients, families, GPs etc.
- Attending weekly MDTs and lead on the treatment planning and discharge planning on your caseload.
- To report to the band 7s when assistance or guidance is required.
- To complete joint sessions with the SALT, OT and rehab assistants as and when required.
The pay rate for this physiotherapist role is £21-25 per hour (umbrella equivalent) dependent on experience.
Requirements of this physiotherapist vacancy:
- HCPC registered
- Car driver with access to their own car
- Neuro experience
- Community experience (desirable)
