Job description

Maxxima’s Nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to fill a number of full-time roles across Essex. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding intensive outreach services and community mental health practices within the NHS. 

This NHS role will require you to work as a community psychiatric nurse within a Intensive Outreach Team. Our client are recruiting for staff to cover a number of areas – Harlow, Colchester, Braintree or Brentwood.  You will Assess, manage, careplan, support and review care needs in line with policy, procedures and legislation, including the provision of aftercare under Section 117 of the Mental Health Act.

This role is Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00, 37.5 hours a week.

The pay rate for this Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse job is £24.00 per hour (Umbrella), and is a 3 month contract due to start ASAP.

Requirements for this Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse vacancy:
•            You must be a registered mental health nurse with current NMC pin.
•            You must have community experience as a CPN 
•            You must have considerable social care assessment experience
