Job description
We are currently looking for an experienced Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to join the Adult Locality Team in Peterborough on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of community mental health practices within the NHS.
You will be working with the busy NHS Adult Locality team to provide assessments and initial treatment advice to patients. The locality service is for people aged 17 upwards who are experiencing symptoms of moderate to severe mental illness. You will support carers and families through home visits and give advice on patients' health and wellbeing.
The pay rate for this locum Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse role is £23 per hour (Umbrella) and is a full-time, 3-month contract due to start ASAP.

You must be a registered mental health nurse with a valid NMC pin
You must have previous experience working within a community mental health team
You must have previous experience within the NHS
You must be a driver and have access to your own vehicle
You must be able to work independently as well as a team
