Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to fill a full-time role in Camberley. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of older adults mental health practices within the NHS.
 
Your role will be to provide additional assessments and interventions for people with advanced dementia and very challenging behaviour. You will provide home-based assessment and support to families and other professionals involved in a person's care over a period of up to 12 weeks.
 
The role is rota based, 8am-4pm, 12pm-8pm, as well as 9am-5pm.
 
The pay rate for this Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse is £24.00 per hour (Umbrella), 2-month contract due to start ASAP.
 
Requirements of this Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse vacancy:
• All applications must be a registered mental health nurse or Social Worker with Valid NMC pin.
• All applicants must have experience undertaking assessments and providing treatment to older adults.
• Preferably have knowledge on SystmOne.
• Must have a driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
