Maxxima's Nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to fill a full-time, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm role in Chelmsford, Essex. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of perinatal mental health care practices within the NHS.

In this NHS role you will work with a Perinatal Mental Health Team. You will manage a defined caseload of service users experiencing moderate to severe perinatal mental health problems, and those with pre-existing severe mental health diagnoses to reduce perinatal risk and maintain stability in this vulnerable period for women's mental health. They will undertake holistic community assessments with a strong emphasis on the parent-infant relationship and safeguarding.

The pay rate for this locum Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse job is £23 per hour (Umbrella) and is a full time, 3 month contract, due to start asap.

Requirements and details of this Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse vacancy:

* You must be a registered mental health nurse with a valid NMC pin
* You must have previously worked within the NHS
* You must have experience working in the community within a perinatal mental health team
