Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to fill a full-time role in Colchester. The ideal candidates will have a significant understanding of mental health and the practices within the NHS.
 
This NHS role will require you to provide care to those patients experiencing mental health issues. You will need to support the service users in the care of their own homes and give advice and provision when necessary. You will also need to provide a dosage of medicines if needed and ensure you are noting all effects into the patient's file.
 
This role is Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00.
 
The pay rate for Community Psychiatric Nurse is £23.00, and is a 3 month contract due to start ASAP. 
 
Requirements for this Community Psychiatric Nurse vacancy:
  • You must be a registered mental health nurse with a valid NMC Pin 
  • You must have previous experience in the community as a CPN
  • You must have previous experience within a similar service
