Job description

Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to fill a full-time role in Greenwich. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of adults mental health within a community setting.

In this NHS role you will be working in the Community Mental Health Team and will be responsible for coordinating the care of an identified group of service users on an enhanced level of CPA.  You will be expected to deliver a range of evidence-based interventions which will promote recovery, social inclusion and normalisation for this group of service users, who suffer from severe and enduring mental health problems.

This role is full time, working Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.

The pay rate for this Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse is £25.00 per hour (Umbrella), and due to start ASAP for a duration of 3 months.

Requirements of this Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse vacancy:

  • All applications must be a registered mental health nurse with Valid NMC pin.
  • You must have experience working as a CPN, working with families and carers
  • You must be a driver with access to your own vehicle
  • Must have experience working in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Must have crisis resolution and management skills
