Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to fill a full-time role in Dorking. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of mental health practices in the community.
 
Your role will be to act as Care Coordinator to a defined caseload of patients referred to the Adults Community Mental Health Team. You will carry out initial assessments and duty work, assisting patients with their recovery.
 
The pay rate for this Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse is £23.00 per hour (Umbrella), working Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm, and is a 3 month contract to start ASAP.
 
Requirements of this Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse role
  • Valid NMC registration under Mental Health Nursing
  • Experience of working within a community mental health team
  • Experience of working as a Care Coordinator
  • Able to commit to at least the next 3 months, ideally 6 months
