Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to fill a full-time role in Guildford. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of community mental health nursing practices within the NHS.
Your role will be to work with a home treatment team, providing care to patients aged between 16 to 65 years and suffering from a mental health crisis. You will assess whether people require hospital admission or whether they can be treated at home, offering alternative treatment to avoid admissions where possible.
This role is rota based, 08:00-16:00, 09:00-17:00 and 12:00-20:00.
The pay rate for this Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse is £24.00 per hour (Umbrella), 3-month contract due to start ASAP.
Requirements of this Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse vacancy:
• All applications must be a registered mental health nurse or Social Worker with Valid NMC pin.
• All applicants must have experience undertaking assessments and providing treatment to adults who have complex issues and lasting mental illnesses.
• Preferably have knowledge on SystmOne.
• Must have a driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
