Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to fill a full-time role in Harlow, Essex. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of mental health access and assessment practices within the NHS.

In this NHS role you will work as a member of the Specialist Community Mental Health Ward Team. As part of the community transformation programme you will be part of the multi-disciplinary team. The aim of the service is to provide recovery-focused treatment and support via personalised care plans for individuals who are presenting with a range of mental health disorders. As part of this multi-disciplinary team, you will work with a spectrum of clinical professionals which include nurses, psychologists, support time recovery workers etc.

This role is full time, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm for the duration of 12 weeks.

The pay rate for this Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse is £23.00 per hour (Umbrella), due to start ASAP.

Requirements of this Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse vacancy:

  • All applications must be a registered mental health nurse with Valid NMC pin
  • You must have experience in case management, care co-ordination and risk assessment.
  • You must be a driver with access to you own vehicle
  • Some experience in working with individuals who are experiencing mental health difficulties
