Job description

Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to fill a full-time role in Braintree, Essex. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of mental health within community settings.

In this NHS role you will work in the Mid Specialist Psychosis Team and provide psycho-social intervention, education and support to develop service users understanding of mental illness with aim to prevent relapse and admission and training packages for staff.

This role is full time, working Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.

The pay rate for this Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse is £23.00 per hour (Umbrella), due to start asap and will be for the duration of 12 weeks

Requirements of this Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse vacancy:

  • All applications must be a registered mental health nurse with Valid NMC pin.
  • You must have 2 years experience in mental health
  • You must be a driver with access to your own vehicle
  • Must show evidence of co-ordinating care for a group of patients
