Maxxima's Nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to fill a full-time role in Farnham, Surrey. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of community mental health care practices within the NHS.

In this NHS role you work within a community team based within the NEH& Farnham area working in partnership with statutory and voluntary sector to facilitate whole system approach to care delivery. The Post Holder will act as Care Coordinator/Lead Professional, where appropriate, to patients who require the skills of a Mental Health Nurse, and provide a holistic, clinical autonomous nursing service, to enable individuals to engage in the best standards of care available.

This role is full time, 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday.

The pay rate for this locum Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse job is £23.00 per hour (Umbrella), and is a 3-month contract, due to start asap.

Requirements and details of this Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse vacancy:


  • You must be a registered mental health nurse with a valid NMC pin
  • You must have previously worked within the NHS
  • You must have previous experience working with adults with a variety of mental health conditions
  • You must have knowledge of SystmONE
