Maxxima’s Nursing Team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to fill a full-time role in Brentwood, Essex. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding high intensity complex need.

In this NHS role you will be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care for service users who are referred to the recovery and wellbeing team. You will be a member of a multi-disciplinary team and work in close co-operation with hospital based and primary health care-based professionals.  You will be responsible for the maintenance of standards of care within the Recovery & Wellbeing Team and actively participate in the training and education of students and staff seconded to the service.  In addition, you will also be responsible for ensuring that an integrated assessment and treatment service is provided to the clients and ensure that a good inter-disciplinary working environment is maintained. 

The pay rate for this Band 6 CPN is £23.00 PH (Umbrella). The role is starting ASAP, working Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm for a period of 12 weeks.

Requirements of this Band 6 CPN vacancy:

  • All applications must be a registered mental health nurse with Valid NMC pin.
  • You must have Knowledge of working with high intensity and complex needs
  • You must have experience working of a care coordinator planning, coordinating and delivering care with the MD
  • You must be a car driver.
