Maxxima’s nursing team are current recruiting for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to fill a full-time role in Southall, West London. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of patient recovery in the community.
The Treatment and Recovery teams provide support for adults aged 18 and over with severe and enduring mental health problems who need more intensive support to recover and remain well in the community.

The Recovery teams work closely with the assessment and community inpatient services, as well as GPs, voluntary organisations and other partners to help people to remain in the community as far as possible and to ease the transition back into normal life.
Your role will be to manage a defined caseload, working duties will include depot clinics, support rotas for the tribunal report, safeguarding throughout your shift and attending any meetings you are scheduled for.
This role is Monday to Friday, 09:00- 17:00, 37.5 hours a week, although 4 days a week may be considered.
The pay rate for this Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse is from £24.00 per hour (Umbrella), 3-month contract due to start ASAP.
Requirements of this Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse vacancy:
• All applications must be a registered mental health nurse with Valid NMC pin.
• All applicants must have community mental health experience.
• All applicants must have experience undertaking assessments and providing treatment to adults who have complex issues and lasting mental illnesses.
