Job description
Maxxima is currently searching for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a community rapid response team in Pontypridd, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales.
The role:
The succesful candidate will be working within the @Home service based in Dewi Sant Hospital. The service provides a rapid response to patients in the community who have an exacerbation of medical problems or following a fall. Referrals are from GPs to an MDT (Consultants, ANPs, Physio and OT).
The contract:
Full time Mon-Fri 37.5h weeks. Part-time candidates will also be considered. The contract will be until August 2021, will a potential extension. Rates will range from £21-28 p/h.

Person specification:
- Candidates must be confident and competent in working in a fast paced community environment (although some clinic sessions are also provided).
- They must be confident working with patients with acute medical problems and be able to drive and have access to transport.
- HCPC registered
- Degree/diploma or post-graduate Occupational Therapy
