Job description

Maxxima's Nursing team are currently recruiting for a band 6 Community RMN to fill a full-time shift based role. Shifts will be covering 8-4pm, 2-10pm, 8-10pm and 8.45-8.30 AM over a 7 day period based in Ilford, East London. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of mental health practices within the NHS community.

This NHS role would require you to carry out mental state and risk assessments of acutely unwell patients who present in crisis, medication management and coordinating shifts, supervising junior staff, liaising with other professionals and facilitating discharges and home visits to patients homes and health facilities.

The pay rate for this locum band 6 community RMN job is £23 per hour (Umbrella) and is a full-time contract, due to start asap.

Requirements and details of this band 6 community RMN vacancy:

* You must be a registered mental health nurse with a valid NMC pin
* You must have at least 2 years experience as a band 6 nurse working in the community with people suffering acute mental challenges, mental state and risk assessment skills
* You must have the ability to draft crisis care plans
* You must have previous NHS experience
