Job description

Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking a Band 6 CPN to fill a full time role in Leyton, East London.

In this role you will be assessing the mental health needs of clients based in a hotel in Leyton due to COVID. You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support clients into appropriate longer-term accommodation. This will also include engagement with relevant MH or other services.
We are looking for an experience mental health nurse with a good understanding of the impact of homelessness on mental health with the ability to assess ADL’s and housing needs.
 
This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, starting ASAP until March 2022

The pay rate for this Band 6 role is £24.00 Umbrella PH

Requirements of the Band 6 CPN role:

  • You must be a registered mental health nurse with valid NMC pin
  • You must have mental health assessment and treatment skills
  • You must have a good understanding of homelessness and mental health
  • You must have knowledge of housing pathways
  • Use of the Rio system is essential
