Job description

Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking a Band 6 CPN to fill a full time role in Ealing, West London based in older peoples mental health service.

In this role you will be assessing the mental health needs of older people with mental health issues. You will be working in the community with service users and their carers who present complex health presentations, developing their personalised care plans to enable them to lead fulfilling lives.
Part of your role will be to promote the safety and the well being of service users and their families/carers. You will be assessing, planning and implementing care and providing specialist nursing advise and carry out specialist nursing procedures.
This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, starting ASAP until November 2021

The pay rate for this Band 6 role is £24.00 Umbrella PH

Requirements of the Band 6 CPN role:
  • You must be a registered mental health nurse with valid NMC pin
  • You must have experience working with patients and their carers with complex health and social care difficulties
  • You must have experience managing a caseload
  • You must have experience providing a range of clinical interventions with a variety of health difficulties
  • Community nursing qualification and mentorship/teaching qualification is desirable but not essential
