Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Health Visitor to fill a full time role in Northampton. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of health visiting practices.
The pay rate for this locum Band 6 Health Visitor job is £23 per hour (Umbrella) and is a 6 month contract due to start ASAP.
In the 0 - 19 team you will be required to promote good health and prevent ill health in children, families and communities. You will be responsible to do this through raising awareness of and identifying unmet health needs, and initiating, developing, implementing and evaluating plans of care. You will assist in the Delivery of the Healthy Child Programme including new birth visits, 6-8 week reviews, running Well Baby clinics and follow local Safeguarding procedures.
Requirements of the Band 6 Health Visitor role:
- You must have completed Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN - HV) training
- You must be a Registered General nurse with a Health Visiting qualification
- You must have experience working with children
- You must have experience being a Health Visitor within the NHS
- You must be a car driver with access to your own vehicle
