Job description
Maxxima’s nursing team is currently recruiting for a Band 6 LAC Nurse to fill a full-time role based in Walthamstow, East London. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge and skills as a looking after children nurse.
This NHS role will require you to work in partnership with Social Services, Foster Carers, Residential homes and birth families in promoting the health of Looked after Children and maintain good liaison. will deliver review health assessments for children and young people virtually or face to face in a clinic setting or at their placements, and will ensure effective implementation of health care plans for individual children, ensuring all professionals working with Looked after Children have a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities.
This role will be Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00.
The pay rate for this Band 6 LAC Nurse is £25.00 per hour (Umbrella), due to start ASAP.

Requirements of this Band 6 LAC Nurse vacancy:
- You must be a Registered General Nurse with a valid NMC Pin
- You must have experience as a LAC Nurse.
- You must have experience with children, young people and families.
- You must have excellent communication skills.
- You must have good documentation skills.
- You will need to be self-motivates and be able to prioritise workload.
