Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Mental Health Nurse to fill a full-time role in  Newmarket. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of Community Mental Health and the practices within the NHS.
 
The team, based at Newmarket Hospital, are looking for candidates with the ability to undertake mental state of examination assessments as well as mental health /illness risk assessments  and treatments and those with experience in care coordination and duty work.
 
Ideally you will have previous experience in Mental health Services  working in the community with either Adult or older people’s  services.
 
This role will be Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00, for at least the next 3 months.
 
The pay rate for this Band 6 Mental Health Nurse is £23.00 per hour (Umbrella).
 
Requirements of this Band 6 Mental Health Nurse vacancy:
 
  • All applications must be registered mental health nurses with Valid NMC pin.
  • You must have previous experience working in mental health.
  • Previous experience in Mental health Services  working in the community with either Adult or older people’s  services.
  • You must be a highly motivated individual.
  • Must have good assessment skills.
