Job description

Maxxima’s nursing team is currently recruiting for a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to fill a full-time role in Bury, North West England. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge in young persons mental health practices within the NHS.

In this NHS role you will:
  • Complete routine and urgent mental health assessments
  • Manage a caseload of young people within varying mental health difficulties
  • Cover duty 
  • Offer assessments in A&E and paediatric ward
This role is full time, working 5 days per week Monday-Friday 37.5 hrs, 09:00-17:00 

The pay rate for this Band 6 Mental Health Nurse is £23.00 per hour (Umbrella), due to start asap for the duration of 12 weeks.

Requirements of this Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner vacancy:
  • You must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC Pin
  • You must have experience working with young people
  • You must be able to start immediately
