Maxxima’s nursing team is currently recruiting for a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to fill a full-time role in the Children and Young Persons Service in Norwich, Norfolk. The ideal candidate will have an interest in working young children and their families.

The team are requesting that candidates have a minimum of 12 months post graduate experience and should have experience working with young people, preferable under the age of 18yrs. All candidates will require at least 12 months mental health experience.

The team have said that they will consider applicants from Mental health and Learning Disability Nursing and Social Workers.

Due to COVID restrictions at this time, most of the therapeutic interventions are carried out via Microsoft teams or by telephone. Staff are able to work remotely for part of the week with agreed days working from 80 St Stephens.
The service hours are 8am to 8pm Mon to Fri (excluding bank holidays). Staff are able to work flexibly within these hours following agreement from the Team Manager.

The pay rate for this  Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner role is £23.00 per days, due to start as soon as possible.

  • You must be a Registered Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse with a valid NMC Pin.
  • You must have some experience working with young people
  • You must be able to start this role in the next 4 weeks
