Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to fill a full-time role in this Community Mental Health Team in West Bridgford, Nottingham. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of Mental Health and the practices within the NHS.
 
Your role will be to provide a defined level of specialist assessment and access to interventions for a diverse patient group and their families under the care programme approach, who present with significant mental health problems/disorders.  To provide realistic timely or occasionally intensive support to patients within their own community setting and to demonstrate active clinical and managerial leadership skills within the team, providing education and supervision to junior staff members and other professionals
 
You must be a car driver with your own transport to be considered
 
The pay rate for this Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner is £23.00 per hour for days (Umbrella)
 
Requirements of this Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner vacancy:
  • All applications must be registered mental health nurse or registered learning disabilities nurse with Valid NMC pin.
  • You must have previous experience working in an NHS team, ideally within a CMHT
  • You must be a highly motivated individual.
  • Must have good assessment skills.
