Job description

Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Care Coordinator / Mental Health Practitioner to fill a full-time role in Hounslow, London. The ideal candidates will have a significant understanding of mental health nursing within the NHS.

Your role will be to support the development of EIS services within the borough of Hounslow and to provide an intensive outreach service to young people and their families, who have experienced a first episode of any psychotic illness and to work with them over 3 years. The team provides care and treatment for children and adults living in the London boroughs of Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham and Hounslow, delivering services in the community

The Hounslow EIP Team is based at Lakeside Mental Health Unit – West Middlesex University Hospital- Twickenham Rd Isleworth

The pay rate for this Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner role is £25.00 (umbrella) and is to start as soon as possible.
 
Requirements for this Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner vacancy:
  • You must be a registered mental health nurse with a valid NMC.
  • CCO experience
  • Previous experience of working within Early Intervention
  • Experience working with Psychosis
