Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner/Care Coordinator to fill a full-time role in Ruislip, London. The ideal candidates will have a significant understanding of mental health nursing within the NHS.

Your role will be to support the development of EIS services within the Boroughs of Harrow and Hillingdon and to provide an intensive outreach service to young people aged between 14 and 35, and their families, who have experienced a first episode of any psychotic illness and to work with them over 3 years. To be a senior member of the team and help provide a range of evidence based interventions to help promote recovery. The post holder will be required to work within the multi-disciplinary team and provide and individualised and holistic care package to users and their network.

Initially for 1 month, but likely to be extended for a further 6 after this time.

The pay rate for this Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse is £25.00 (umbrella) and is to start as soon as possible.
 
Requirements for this Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse vacancy:
  • You must be a registered mental health nurse with a valid NMC.
  • CCO experience
  • Previous experience of working with ages 14-35yrs old
  • Experience working with Psychosis
